Stompin' In Puddles

And having strapped on your feet the gospel of peace in preparation [to face the enemy with firm-footed stability and the readiness produced by the good news]. Ephesians 6:15 (Amplified Bible, AMP)

The devil loves to try to rain on our parade. It is inevitable that no matter what we are believing God for, the enemy will come against us with doubt and circumstances designed to discourage us. But we don’t have to become discouraged. We don’t have to let his rain dampen our spirits. Instead, we can put on our boots of peace and stomp in the puddles, staying full of joy and expectation.

Peace that comes from the good news of the Word of God helps us to remain in faith during turbulent times. Peace is our safe place and a place of power over the attacks of the wicked one. And the place to get peace is the Bible.

No matter what type pf attack comes your way, there is a scripture for it. If the attack is in your finances, there are verses for that.

Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever. Psalm 112:3 (KJV)

If the attack comes against your health, there are verses for that.

Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases. Psalm 103:3 (KJV)

If the attack is in your relationships and you are heartbroken, there are verses for that.

He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. Psalm 147:3 (KJV)

When we take God at His Word in any area of life, we receive His peace. The Bible says it is a peace that passes our understanding and it keeps our hearts and minds as we focus on Jesus. No matter what storms may come, the Word is our anchor and our peace. And we can stomp and jump in the enemy’s puddles as our feet are shod with the peace of the Lord.
