He's the God of the Comeback

And you have heard of all that Job went through and we can now see that the Lord ultimately treated him with wonderful kindness, revealing how tenderhearted he really is! James 5:11b (The Passion Translation, TPT)

A lot of times we go through things that are hard and hurtful, but they will ultimately turn out good when we trust God. It might not feel good at the time, but we will eventually see that God is kind and good when He blesses us and restores all we lost. The thing is, we need to keep that in mind while we are in the midst of the hardship. While we are in the worst times, we need to remember that God is good and He is working to make things right.

God is planning our breakthrough, our blessings, and our comeback. In the meantime, we must go through to get through our situation, enduring in the strength that comes from keeping our eyes on Jesus. Be sure to never blame God for the problems that come along, because the devil is the one who brings all things that steal, kill and destroy. Ultimately, if we wait patiently for the Lord, we will end up better when we come out of the trouble than when we went in. If you recall, Job’s latter end was better than his former.

When life has mistreated us and has been unkind, God will treat us with kindness and compassion. He will take unfair situations and in His justice He will make things right. He will outdo anything that has been done. In the end, He will make sure we are paid back and receive double for our trouble.
