Livin' The Good Life

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live. Deuteronomy 30:19

No one can choose your life but you- not your parents, not your family, not your friends, not your teachers, community, or even your church. You may have had a rough start, or things may not be ideal right now, but these are not controlling factors in who you are and how your life will be. You choose who you want to be and what you want to do. Even if others made bad decisions that affected your life, you can change it by choosing right thoughts, words and actions. We can choose life over death, victory over defeat, health over sickness, miracles over mistakes, and so on.

We’re not victims of what people did or didn’t do for us because we have a heavenly Father who loves us and is with us. What He thinks, says and does for us is really what matters. Based on who God is, what Christ has done for us and the help of the Holy Spirit, we can begin to make right choices that will undo, out-do, and over-do anything that the devil has done to us.

By our free will, we can choose the life we want, and each day- step by step- live the good life we choose.
