The 400 Year Principle

And God spake on this wise, That his seed should sojourn in a strange land; and that they should bring them into bondage, and entreat them evil four hundred years. And the nation to whom they shall be in bondage will I judge, said God: and after that shall they come forth, and serve me in this place. Acts 7:6-7 (KJV)

Let’s take a look at the meaning of the number 400 and its significance to us in America today. In the Hebrew alphabet, letters have a numeric value. The number 400 is assigned to the Hebrew letter tav, which is a sign of the cross, or of the covenant. God had established a covenant with Abraham and told him his descendants would be liberated from bondage after 400 years in Egypt. 400 speaks of an end to bondage.

What does this mean to us in the United States? God and Jesus cut a covenant that allows us to be free to worship and serve God. On November 11, 1620, the Pilgrims landed at what would become Plymouth Massachussetts. November 11, 2020 will mark 400 years since they landed here. They established their colony for the worship of God, meaning our country was founded as a Christian nation for the express purpose of worshipping Him. I believe the year 2020 is a time of vision, when we will see America return to her foundations of righteousness, justice, the Bible, prayer, and life. We will see a turn-around in our country. I believe Donald Trump will win re-election and the right people will control the Senate and the House of Representatives. The Supreme Court will be filled with right justices, and this will all release a great outpouring of God’s Word. Spirit, and ways on America. We will see a great awakening to the things of God.

The pilgrims landed on November 11, or 11-11. What is the significance of that? There are two very meaningful scriptures we can turn to.

And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. Isaiah 11:11 (KJV)

Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised. Hebrews 11:11 (KJV)

Just as the Jews returned to their land, we are returning to our foundations. Therefore, our foundations will be restored and that which was stolen, lost, or never possessed will be ours- better and stronger. Jesus will be exalted. The church will be restored. The lost will be saved. We will be a blessed nation once again because we gave God access once again. And America will be reborn. Just as Sarah had strength to birth Isaac, strength is coming from God to bring forth a new United States. We are experiencing the birth pains of a new nation right now.

America will be great again because God is back in America again. America was patterned after Israel to a great extent. As Israel experienced a return, so will we. As we return to God, He will bring blessing and prosperity to our land. Our latter end will be greater and better than our beginning. The best is yet to come. Divine turn-around is here!
