No Condemnation

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Romans 8:1 (KJV)

The phrase “no condemnation” actually means “no sentence against” in the Greek. As believers, we are in Christ, so there’s no sentence against us. Sin condemned us, but now we are in Chrsit and free from sin and the shame that accompanies sin. We are declared righteous. Therefore, no one can bring a charge against us as God’s elect, His chosen ones. The enemy doesn’t have a leg to stand on when he tries to accuse us.

Christ paid the price, took our death sentence and nailed it to the cross. Now we stand in Christ- not condemned, but made right, fit, worthy, and accepted.

When feelings of condemnation try to come, declare, “There is no condemnation to me because I am in Christ Jesus. The law of the Spirit of life has made me free from the law of sin and death.”

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. Galatians 5:1

Never forget that in Christ you are free. Sin has no more rule over you to condemn you.
