Free to Flow
He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. John 7:38 (KJV)
I heard the Lord speak this to me today: “Free to flow- follow the flow.”
When you’re free, you can follow the flow of God to let rivers of living water flow out of you to minister to others. The Source that brings life to you, take it wherever you go to give life to others.
The Holy Spirit is likened to a river, for a river brings life wherever it flows. Those who drink of the Spirit’s life will live. That river is in you to give you life as you drink of God’s Word and His Spirit. In doing so, you become more sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s leading coming from your spirit man. As peace flows, you can follow the flow of peace, knowing you’re doing the right thing because you have peace about it.
Notice that this verse says rivers of living water- plural. You see, God has many ways to bring His plan to pass. There are rivers of joy, healing, praise, worship, miracles, wisdom, and so on. As we being to pray in the Spirit and worship God, we start to tap into the many rivers that God has put in us. We are never without an answer, way, direction, wisdom, or provision. If a need arises, give and begin to tap into that river of supply. Put a demand on your giving so you release a river of blessing that comes back to you 100-fold. God has rivers that cover anything we need in life. Release the river of God’s presence to touch and refresh others. Release the river of revelation so you see the things of God’s Word and Spirit by His Spirit.
We’re free to flow and follow the flow to experience all God has for us. The freer we are in this, the more God will flow in us and through us, allowing us to continue to follow the flow more and more!
