Prophetic Healing
Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:4 (KJV) emphasis mine
These verses speak of Jesus as our Substitute, Redeemer, Savior, Healer, Physician…. Jesus carried our sins and sickness so we don’t have to. Jesus is our scape goat- sin and sickness were laid upon Him. He carried them to the cross and nailed them there. Jesus hath borne our sickness and disease. Isaiah prophesied this in the past tense, that it was already done, before Jesus actually did it. How can this be?
And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. Revelation 13:8 (KJV)
This was written by God before creation, before sin occurred or sickness and death ever existed. God already had a plan to save, forgive, heal, and redeem mankind. Jesus just came and walked out and fulfilled what was already spoken and written of Him.
Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, I Peter 1:20 (KJV)
Because it was already spoken and established, that’s how God could call us healed. God’s decree that Jesus was wounded and bruised had already placed the punishment for sin upon Jesus. This is how Jesus could heal people and forgive people in His earthly ministry before He ever went to the cross. God’s spoken Word already made it so.
When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses. Matthew 8:16-17 (KJV)
Jesus fulfilled the Word that was already spoken forth about Him. That’s how He could heal people before He was beaten and died for our healing.
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. I Peter 2:24 (KJV)
Ye were healed. It’s a fulfilled prophecy. Just receive by faith what Jesus did for you. God spoke it by faith, then Jesus acted on it by faith. Now, we receive it by faith. It is already finished. Provision is made for healing before we ever see it or feel it. Speak and act like it is so to make it so.
God calls those things which be not as though they were (Romans 4:17). God had the answer before you ever had a problem.
