Path, Presence, Pleasures

You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Psalm 16:11 (NKJV) emphasis mine

Path

God has a path for our lives. it’s the path of life that only God knows. But, as we seek Him, listen to Him, and follow His instruction, we walk this path. It leads us down the path of life; the God life; the ways of God. It is a path that is filled with, as Ephesians 2:10 says in the Amplified Classic Edition, works that God has pre-planned beforehand that we should walk in them. It is living the good life that He pre-arranged and made ready for us to live. That’s why it is called the path of life. It is the good life- the life God wants us to live.

Presence

And this path leads us right into God’s presence. And it is a presence that fills us with joy, not misery. Whatever you face, God is there. His manifest presence fills our lives, bringing healing, joy, peace, and victory. All we need is God’s presence, and all we need is IN God’s presence. God’s path leads us to God. In His presence and at His right hand there are pleasures forevermore. Why? Because Jesus is at His right hand. All we need has been provided by Jesus. All we have to do is come to God thorugh Jesus.

Pleasures

When we come to God, we will find pleasures; every good thing from God. Our greatest pleasure is having and knowing Jesus. When we have Jesus, we can receive all that’s been paid for.

As God shows us the path of life that He has for us, we take the steps to walk in that path. That leads us to live in His presence, where we will be satisfied with the pleasures of God. And that, my friend, brings fullness of life forevermore.
