The Father's Infinite Heart

Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God. Psalm 90:2 (KJV)

Recently, as I was praying, I heard the Lord speak to my heart, “The Father’s heart is infinite.” If you aren’t sure what that means, let me explain.

God always has room in His heart for one more person because there is no end to His heart. It’s similar to the same way that there is no end to east and west. If you travel west, you’ll keep going west forever. It nevers ends. Unless you turn around, you never go east. The two never meet. They are endless.

God is love. God is infinite. He is eternal and never-ending, and His love is the same way. His love is everlasting. His heart is so much bigger than we can imagine- even bigger than the universe. His heart is a heart of love that beats for us. We came from the heart of God- that is our origin. When we ask Jesus into our hearts, Jesus comes in and puts us back in the heart of the Father where we belong. As a result, we live in the heart of God and we become one with Him. And we will explore and experience the heart of God forever.

So, let God’s infinite heart beat in yours and let your heart beat for Him, where the two of you beat with one heart of love. That is God’s heart- to have us with Him and in Him becoming one with Him for all eternity.
