Protection Through the Precious Blood, Promises, & Presence

And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt. Exodus 12:13 (KJV)

God has promised us divine protection: spirit, soul, body, relationally, financially., and so on. In the Old Testament, Exodus 12, the Israelites applied the blood of the lamb to the door posts and lintels of their houses so the destroyer could not destroy them. John 10:10 identifies satan as the destroyer. As we apply the blood of Jesus Christ by faith using spoken words such as: “I apply Jesus’ blood to my life,” the destroyer can’t destroy us or anything of ours. Plead the blood of Jesus over all that concerns you, and that wicked one can’t touch you.

Precious Blood

That blood is precious, costly, rare, valuable- because Jesus blood was sinless and bought our redemption. Jesus purchased us with His blood. He gave His blood, His natural body, to cleanse His spiritual body, His bride, the body of Christ, the church. His blood was shed to protect and provide all we would ever need. As we declare the blood of Jesus over ourselves, we enforce the finished works of Christ in our lives.

Precious Promises

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. Isaiah 55:11 (KJV)

God watches over His Word to perform it as we speak it out by faith.

Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. II Peter 1:4 (KJV)

God has given unto us precious promises to partake of. The precious blood of Christ purchased them for us. We can speak out the promises and partake of who God is. He is love. He is ultimate power. He is ever present and watching over His Word to perform it. As we declare the blood of Christ, with the Word of Christ (the promises), God moves on our behalf to fulfill our redemptive rights, or the promises. This can bring us into His precious presence. And all of them provide protection.

Precious Presence

Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh; And having an high priest over the house of God; Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) Hebrews 10:19-23 (KJV)

As we come into God’s presence by His blood, declaring God’s Word, we access the protection that is in God’s presence. No evil, harm, accident, or any attack of the enemy can reach us there. The presence of God is like a force field or a shield. The attacks of satan just bounce off of God’s presence, and we are protected by Almighty God.

Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. Matthew 28:20 (KJV) emphasis mine

We are never alone or without help, support, and protection. Jesus is with us, making sure His blood accomplishes in our lives all that He shed it to purchase. He is working with us, fulfilling His Word with signs following.

The blood, the promises, and the presence are just some of the ways God will protect us. Of course, we have His Spirit, His angels, His power, worship, and so forth, always available anytime we choose to access them by word of faith.

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Psalm 91:1-2 (KJV)
