It's In The Glory

God’s glory can be described as the weighty, powerful, manifest presence of God. His glory can accomplish many mighty things for us as we see it manifested in our lives.

To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved…. That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ…. Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. Ephesians 1:6, 12, 14 (KJV)

These verses speak of the praise of His glory. This tells us that the glory is in God’s grace, or is manifested through His grace. It speaks of the praise of the glory of His grace. The glory is released through the grace of God when we praise. Praise releases the glory. The more we worship God, the more glory we can experience. The glory contains the supernatural demonstration, manifestation, and operation of God’s Spirit and power.

Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father (Romans 6:4). There is power, life, and liberty in the glory. Nothing can stop it, kill it, or overcome it. God is the God of Glory. Jesus is the Glorified Son. Holy Spirit is called the Spirit of Glory.

The glory is spiritual and changes the natural. When we encounter the glory, we are transformed and changed. Just as it gave Christ life and revealed Him (Matthew 17:1-13), it makes us into new creatures. Then, we are changed from glory to glory by God’s Spirit and Word (II Corinthians 3:18).

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 (KJV)

All we need is in the glory. Philippians tells us that the riches of God are found in His glory. When we usher in God’s glory, we can access riches and supernatural provision. Praise and worship brings the glory and all our needs can be met as we tap into the glory.

Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. I Peter 4:12-14 (KJV)

As we suffer for our faith, the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Glory, rests on us. We receive a special glory, power to endure, so we are victorious and not defeated. Just as Jesus and many of His followers overcame every persecution, even death, the glory enables us to do the same.

For those who live for Christ and endure to the end, there will be glorious rewards. First, we’ll see the Father, Jesus, and Holy Spirit. They will reward us according to what we did in our earthly bodies. Then, we can use those rewards as crowns and cast them at the feet of Jesus, Who is worthy of honor, worship, and glory (Revelation 4:10-11).

And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. Revelation 5:13 (KJV)
