Let God Take Care Of You- Part 2
Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. I Peter 5:7 (KJV)
How do we cast care on God? We cast our cares on Him by choice- and then by voice. Decide to give it all to Him, then say, “Lord, I give it all to you. I cease from self-care. I rest in Your care for me.” You then cease from worry and from trying to solve it yourself and in your own strength. Let God take over and work things out to meet any and every need.
Cease meditating on anxious thoughts. Resist any fearful feelings. Replace them with the Word of God. Understand that you don’t have to make things happen. Give it all to God, and watch Him make things happen.
Casting your care on God means that the battle is the Lord’s, not yours. He cares for you. He loves you. Therefore, if we let Him, He will take over and fight our battles. And, keep in mind that God never loses. He wins every time- all the time.
God’s hands are bigger than yours. He’s got the whole world in His hands. He knows what to do and can take care of you by just one move of His hand. Cast your care and let Him take care of you!
