For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. II Corinthians 1:20 (KJV)

Jesus is the amen to all of God’s promises. Amen means “so be it.”

• God, do you want me healed? Amen, so be it.

• God, do you want me to prosper? Amen, so be it.

• God do you want me to have peace? Amen, so be it.

• God, do you want me to live with You forever? Amen, so be it.

The Bible says, “Let the redeemed of the Lord say so,” (Psalm 107:2). Why? Because when we say so from a place of faith, we make it so. Therefore, if you don’t like how your life has been going, change it by saying so. Because God made us in His image and likeness, our words have creative power, just as His do. Say it: “Health and healing, be!” “Prosperity, be!” “Protection, be!” “Life, be!”

In Genesis 1, God saw darkness, but He spoke light. And light manifested. In like manner, we must say it the way we want it to be, based on God’s promises. Then it will be the way we say. If we believe and are fully persuaded that we have it when we say it, then what we say comes to pass. We see this principle throughout scripture.

For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. Mark 11:23-24 (KJV)

When we say what God”s Word says, we enforce His Word in our lives. Agreeing with Gd brings His Word to pass. God watches over His Word to fulfill His promises. He loves it when we speak His word and proclaim His promises as “Yes and Amen” in Christ.

Speak God’s promises. It will be just as you say it will be. Amen, so be it!
