His Love Is Infinite
He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!] Hebrews 13:5 (Amplified Bible Classic Edition, AMPC)
Do not become discouraged or believe that God will let you down. He has clearly promised to stay with us and support us every step of the way. Remember that no problem or obstacle is too big for the Lord. You can rest assured that He keeps His promises and that He sticks with us at all times. My husband uses a phrase, “tighter than white on rice,” to describe something that is really, really close. I guess it works unless you eat brown rice (ha ha). Regardless, God is even closer than that because if you are born again, He is actually inside you and is One with you- and it doesn’t get any closer than that, my friend!
I really like the Amplified version of that verse, particularly because it emphasizes His determination to stay with us by repeating the phrase “I will not.” God has said it, and He means it. He is the perfect Father and will not allow anything to come between Him and His children. He has told us this in Romans.
So now I live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate us from God’s love. I’m convinced that his love will triumph over death, life’s troubles, fallen angels, or dark rulers in the heavens. There is nothing in our present or future circumstances that can weaken his love. There is no power above us or beneath us—no power that could ever be found in the universe that can distance us from God’s passionate love, which is lavished upon us through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One! Romans 8:38-39 (The Passion Translation, TPT)
God is so good that He has promised to help us and be with us 24/7. His dedication to us can be trusted because God is love (I John 4:8) and love never fails (I Cornthians 13:8). If we choose to receive His love and His promise of support, we can enter any situation with confidence and assurance of total success because we know He won’t leave us helpless. We can rest in the midst of situations that appear hopeless. Believing His love is the key to victory in every area of life.
And we know (understand, recognize, are conscious of, by observation and by experience) and believe (adhere to and put faith in and rely on) the love God cherishes for us. I John 4:16 (Amplified Bible Classic Edition, AMPC)
Don’t doubt God or His love. He is trustworthy and He is true to His Word. He has loved you with an everlasting love and he does not intend to ever stop loving you. You can count on His love- now and for all eternity.
The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you. Jeremiah 31:3 (NKJV)
The love of God is infinite. It never runs out and it never ends. It is enduring just as he is enduring. He will love you forever- no matter what. What a dedicated, loving Father we have!
