God Knows

He understands humanity, for as a Man, our magnificent King-Priest was tempted in every way just as we are, and conquered sin. Hebrews 4:15 (The Passion Translation, TPT)

Do you ever get tired of your humanity? I do, and, at times, I feel like not trying. Have you ever felt like nobody gets you or understands you? Have you grown tired of failing, falling, and being disappointed? I think we all have.

Jesus gets us and understands us because these same things we face today, He faced them in the past. And the good news is that He overcame. He felt what we feel. He was tempted in all areas yet He didn’t sin. And that includes the temptation to give up.

Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28 (New Living Translation, NLT)

When you feel tired of trying, of going through the motions, go to Jesus and let Him help you. He will strengthen you, and if you let Him, He will remove the burden from you. He is there with you and there for you, and He understands and wants to help.

Jesus won the victory for us, so as we yield, look to, rely on, and trust in Him, He will give us what we need to win. He will provide the strength to persist, the wisdom to make right choices, and the courage to face any challenge. So, say yes to Jesus and no to defeat. Every time we do, He empowers us to enforce His victory in our lives.

He really does know and understand our struggles- and He has provided what is needed for us to overcome every single time. Hang in there and don’t give up. He has a good outcome prepared for you.
