Free To Be You

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10 (KJV)

The following is a Word for you from your heavenly Father.

Stop trying to change yourself, but learn to accept yourself and express who you are. There will be those who accept you, and there will be those who won’t. Learn to be around those who celebrate you rather than those who just tolerate you.

I have gifted you and called you to be yourself; to do what only you can do. Don’t compare or compete, but be complete in me. You are who I made you, so be the best you that you can be. I made you the way I wanted you. You are my handiwork. You are wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Learn to express, not suppress, your uniqueness. Learn to accept your acceptance, for you are accepted in me (John 6:37).

Connect with those who truly receive you and who I have made you to be. Disconnect from those who do not. Qualify people to determine those who qualify to be in relationship with you. You are not desperate for the acceptance of people, so choose carefully who you allow in your inner circle.

And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet. Matthew 10:14 (KJV)

For those who do not genuinely receive you, shake the dust off your feet and move on. Time is too short to become occupied with relationships that are not of me. Learn to be free. Live free. Rejoice in me. Sing in me. Dance and praise in me. Remember that who I made you to be in me is your true identity, and no human being can take that from you. In me, you live and move and have your being. (Acts 17:28) You are free to be you!
