God Needs You To Vote
The acts of God take place in the earth primarily through people. God needs men and women to work through in order for His plans to come to pass. And this includes politics and elections.
I’m sure you’re fatigued with all the division and political fighting that has been going on. If you are like me, you are so ready for this election cycle to be over. However, we have a duty to God and to our country. We don’t have the luxury of sitting out an election- our vote is sacred and God expects us to use it to promote godly values in this nation. The privilege of voting has been given to us as a free nation and many people have died to preserve our right to have a voice in government. If you were thinking about not voting in this election, please reconsider. Believe it or not, the Lord needs your vote. He has good plans for the United States, but it takes us doing our part.
Please get out and vote. And vote for the people aligned with the principles that God loves:
Life for the unborn. Jeremiah 1:4-5, Psalm 139:13-17
Good relations with Israel. Genesis 12:3
Secure borders. Numbers 34:1-12
Biblical marriage. Genesis 1:27, Genesis 2:18-25, Romans 1:26-27
Prosperity. Deuteronomy 8:18, Psalm 112:3
The rule of law. Leviticus 24-25
Personal freedom to choose how to live. Deuteronomy 30:19
Religious freedom. Matthew 22:21, John 4:23
I have to be honest and tell you that if you read the platforms of the two parties, only one of them stands with God on all these issues. The Republican Party clearly sides on the side of the Bible. You can read information about the Republican Party Platform by clicking here. You can read about the Democratic Party Platform by clicking here. Once you know what they stand for and what they stand against, I hope you’ll see the clear choice and vote all the way down the ticket for those who support biblical values.
