The Anointing Makes The Difference
And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. Isaiah 10:27 (KJV) emphasis mine
In this verse, the part I have emphasized means the following in Hebrew: and the yoke shall be broken because you have grown so fat. The word anointing refers to olive oil used to anoint, fat, fertile. When someone was anointed, the oil was poured, rubbed or smeared on.
The anointing will cause things to come to pass: burdens lifted, yokes broken off necks, every yoke totally destroyed. As we stay full of God’s Word and the Holy Spirit, we will stay full of God’s anointing. You might say that we have been smeared with the slippery, holy anointing oil where nothing bad can stay attached to us. We don’t have to try to get free on our own through struggle and effort. We just fill up on the anointing and let the Holy Spirit flow and do His work. Bondages and burdens will slip off when we let the anointing do its work.
The more time we spend in His presence and praying in tongues, the fatter we grow in God. And as you grow fatter, yokes come off- they simply cannot stay on. The anointing becomes bigger than any bondage and you become free, moving into the things of God and flowing in the anointing.
To increase the anointing in you and on you, pray, worship, study the Word, spend time in God’s presence. You will grow fat in the anointing, and no enemy will be able to stop you.
