Victory Over the World's System

Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God. II Corinthians 4:4 (New Living Translation, NLT)

The devil is the god of the world’s system. That is why anyone who operates in that system never seems to get ahead. The devil’s system operates on the principle of lack and loss. Everything in this world is in the process of decay. Death reigns in the world system.

In God’s kingdom, the opposite is true. In the Kingdom of God, all His children prosper and succeed. They are the head and not the tail. There is always more than enough in the Kingdom of God. And death has no place in this Kingdom because Life always trumps death, and Life rules and reigns here.

While we are in this world, our citzenship is in God’s kingdom, but we must take ground for God in this world’s system. We must bring the light and the life to the darkness. We must shine brightly and stand for the Lord. As we do, the darkness shrinks back, the world system is impacted, and souls are won for the Lord.

For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith. I John 5:4 (New Living Translation, NLT)

We have victory over this world’s system and over the god who controls it.
