Song of Songs- Part 1: Stay in Love With Jesus

My beloved is mine, and I am his: he feedeth among the lilies. Song of Songs 2:16 (KJV)

Jesus is our true passion, our one burning desire. Protect your first love, the love you have for Jesus. Despite the cold world we live in, do not allow the fire of your love for him to die down. Many waters cannot quench love if you refuse to allow it. Guard your heart, eyes, ears, and mouth, by looking to Jesus. Let Him be your first and only love. Let Him be your first though when you wake and your last word when you lie down to sleep. Keep your mind on His words. Keep a son lifted up to Him all day long.

As you love and pour out your love on Jesus, nothing bad can get in your heart and contaminate the pure aromatic oil of worship that flows from your heart. As a result, what you pour out on Jesus will be pure. A pure heart pours pure praise on the one it loves.

Keep your eyes and heart just on Jesus. Let Him captivate and capture you spirit, soul, and body, and you will run after Him with all of yourself. And when He lets you catch Him, you can express your love fully and freely. After all, He is the true love of our lives. Loving Jesus and being loved by Him, is the most fulfilling and meaningful life.
