God Is Birthing New Things
Yesterday was November 11th, or 11-11. It is interesting to look at 11:11 scripture verses. When you run a reference in Scripture looking specificallt at 11:11, it is amazing to see what unfolds- and how it applies to us today.
And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. Isaiah 11:11 (KJV)
This verse speaks of the return of the Jews to Israel. This was fulfilled May 14, 1948 when Israel was re-established as a nation. We see this also in the verse that follows it.
And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. Isaiah 11:12 (KJV)
Israel was persecuted in it’s re-emergence as a sovereign nation, yet it the midst of it, God made it happen. No matter what other nations do to Israel, one truth remains and prevails: God loves Israel. He will protect, fight for, and bless the Israeli people. God gathered them from the North, South, East and West. Truly, this was God birthing something and doing something new. God will birth new things for us and for the Jews. Jesus is the guarantee, or sign, of it.
These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep. John 11:11 (KJV)
Jesus said that He would go and awaken Lazarus from his sleep. Today, God is awakening His sleeping church and those that are spiritually dead. God is birthing new things in the church and in the world- even among the Jews worldwide. God is bringing another Great Awakening. This would be a third Great Awakening. First was the Awakening with Jonathan Edwards, and the second was with George Whitefield, both prior to the American Revolution. God brought salvation to America to ensure the country would get its start and become its own sovereign nation. God is pouring out His Spirit upon all flesh in these last days for a worldwide billion soul harvest. God is certainly birthing something new today.
Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised. Hebrews 11:11 (KJV)
Sarah received strength by faith, and God is currently using our faith to strengthen us in order to conceive and bring forth His promises for us. We can agree with God to bring forth what He has placed in our hearts. As we spend time with God and His Word, we become pregnant, so to speak, with the Word. Dreams, desires, passion, hope, vision, gifts, callings, ideas, wisdom, and insights grow and develop within us. God will birth His heart within us, giving us a heart for Him. Then, we will fulfill His purposes, plans, and will for us. He empowers us with fresh and new anointings to conceive, believe, receive, and do new things.
What great things we see being birthed by simply looking at 11:11!
Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them. Isaiah 42:9 (KJV)
