God Will Use It Yet
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. I Corinthians 15:57 (KJV)
Have you had a desire or set a goal and accomplished it, then later you find that you aren’t actually using what you gained from it? And you might have even thought to yourself, “What’s the point? I’m not even using what I gained!” My friend, let me tell you that nothing is a loss or a waste of time or a mistake when your heart is right and you did what God put in your heart to do.
The other day, I was looking at my degrees, all nicely framed and hanging on the wall. And I thought to myself, “For what?” I was looking at something I had always wanted to do and I had done it, but it didn’t seem like I was using it like I thought I would. However, the next day the Lord told me, “It’s a personal victory.” Wow, did I get it! In the natural, I was the least likely candidate to get a doctoral degree, but God opened the doors and gave me the grace to do it.
The enemies of faith will always tell you what you can’t do or what you are not, but the Lord says that with Him all things are possible. And what God helps us to gain or accomplish- He will use it. Nothing is wasted when we put it in Jesus’ hands. He’ll use what you have in His time and in His way.
He hath made every thing beautiful in his time. Ecclesiastes 3:11 (KJV)
Wait on God and you’ll see that what you did was not a waste of time. You’ll understand what God was doing all the time, and you’ll see your accomplishment with new eyes.
