Your Life is a Symphony
Praise ye the Lord: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely. Psalm 147:1 (KJV)
Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven. He also exalteth the horn of his people, the praise of all his saints; even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye the Lord. Psalm 148:13-14 (KJV)
God takes everything we go through in life and turns it all into musical notes of beautiful praise. He takes the flat notes, the sharp notes, the natural notes, even the half notes and sour notes of life. He blends it into a symphony. Listen for His music flowing forth.
He uses the the flat notes- the things that fell flat and didn’t work out- and He makes them work out in the long run- even better than before. The things that were sharp and hard to take, God pours oil on the wounds and a beautiful sound is heard from your life. It’s the sound of redeeming grace. The natural notes of life- the things that are just the same old same old- God makes them rich and meaningful. The half notes, that part of your life that seems unifnished and incomplete- God will finish what He started in your life-at the right time.
Everyday is a melody line that God is playing and singing. He’s taking your life and making a symphony out of it, then singing it back to you as the song of the Lord. With His added touch, the notes of your life become a beautiful sound, a sound of healing, restoration, and redemption. God makes all the notes and chords of your life come together and flow, so the world hears a harmonious symphony of God’s love, grace, goodness, and joy. It causes the world to be full of the glorious sounds of heaven. There’s harmony, rhythm, solos, ensemble all working together, where each person can join in.
As we are saved, God places us in the Body where we each play our part in His symphony masterpiece. We play the song of God with one body and one voice. We worship Him and form a symphony of praise to God; a glory song to the Lord for all He is and the good He has bestowed on each of us.
His goodness makes our lives flow in rhythm and rhyme. Each person plays his notes in the worship of God and our lives become a symphony for the glory of God.
