For The Vision
For His divine power has bestowed on us [absolutely] everything necessary for [a dynamic spiritual] life and godliness, through true and personal knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. II Peter 1:3 (Amplified Bible, AMP)
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 (KJV)
Sometimes God can speak volumes to us in small ways. Look at the word provision. We could break it down into pro-vision. Pro is a prefix in the English language that means for. So we could look at the word provision and see that it could be expressed as for the vision.
God has promised to provide what we need for anything we need to accomplish in life or for anything that makes us more like God. He even designed the word provision to express His will to supply what we need. We can be assured that if God gives us a vision, whether it be to start a business, be a leader, excel in athletics, preach the gospel, learn Spanish, or anything else, He will always furnish what is needed to bring it to pass. It’s been said that God never gives a vision without provision.
If we have a vision from God and we are short on the resources to pursue it, the problem is not that God hasn’t given us what we need. The problem is with our ability to receive what He has provided. God gives us a vision or dream, and we must build up our faith to receive the resources to accomplish it. We must find Scripture to support our vision and Scripture to support the fact that God has provided what we need. As we put these verses in our hearts by reading them, meditating on them and claiming them as ours by speaking them, we will see them manifest.
In addition, God will likely tell us to sow a seed for the manifestation of what we need. God’s kingdom operates by the principle of sowing and reping. No harvest comes without first sowing seed.
Of course, God will also tell us practical, natural steps to take. He will certainly have us write down the vision and create a plan for its execution. He will give us the wisdom to do this if we ask. He may tell us to develop certain skills through training or practicing. He may lead us to research certain markets or investigate potential suppliers for our venture. There is always something natural for us to do to go along with the supernatural that God does.
No matter where you’re at in regards to your vision, don’t give up on it. If it is from God, He will lead you and provide what is needed at the right time for you to do what He’s called you to do. He’s got everything you require for the vision.
