Fresh Daily- Part 3
But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Matthew 4:4 (KJV)
And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Ephesians 5:18 (KJV)
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord. Acts 3:19 (KJV)
Today we finish our discussion on three things we need fresh from God every day. According to the Bible, we need a fresh Word, a fresh filling, and a fresh touch from God. Today, we’re going to cover our need for a fresh touch.
When we get a fresh touch from the Lord, we experience times of refreshing (see Acts 3:19 above). This comes through the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, Who brings the manifestation of God’s presence. In His presence, we are touched by the hand of God. His presence touches us, refreshes us, and changes us. A fresh touch from God brings joy, strength, power, and an empowerment from God Himself. The fresh oil of God’s anointing pours down, bringing healing, deliverance, restoration and so much more.
Every time Jesus touched someone, they were healed, set free, and given love and acceptance. We need God’s loving touch daily to remind us that we are loved, cared for, accepted, and approved by Him. He cares. He comforts. A fresh touch brings revival to our souls that we can take to others. It brings us face to face with Jesus and we encounter Him all over again. When we receive a fresh touch each day, we cannot grow cold in our love for the Lord. Set time aside to be refreshed in His presence daily to be with Him and feel His loving touch.
So, over these last three days, we’ve seen that as we seek God, we receive a fresh Word, a fresh filling, and a fresh touch from Him.
