Declare This And Do Not Fear
O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. Psalm 118:29 (KJV)
No matter what you see going on around you or the reports you hear, I want you to declare this out loud: “The Lord is good, and His mercy endures forever.” Every time you are tempted to be upset or fearful, say it- and say it loud. Decree the goodness of God in every situation. Decree His goodness over evil, over deception, over every negative voice. Say it several times a day.
Eleven times in Scripture, we see this sentiment written. Many times, the people of Israel decreed the Lord’s goodness, favor, blessing and mercy in the face of what appeared to be certain defeat. And the Lord fought for them. Even now, God is fighting for us, and God always wins.
According to Hebrews faith is the evidence that what we hope for is coming to pass. We use our faith and speak the desired outcome with our words. We know that God is totally good, and His plans for us are good (Jeremiah 29:11). We can trust Him and rely on Him to make sure things turn out right. Therefore, we say what He says, and we do not agree with the reports of the wicked. Also, stay in the Word and pray in tongues over yourself, your family, your nation, and the world.
Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. Psalm 30:5 (KJV)
We are on the winning side. So, declare and decree “The Lord is good, and His mercy endures forever” over and over again until you see the results of it. God’s goodness and mercy will be made evident: the righteous will rule and peace and prosperity will reign over our land.
