Wealth and Health

He also brought them out with silver and gold, And there was none feeble among His tribes. Psalm 105:37 (NKJV)

This is referring to the Israelites when God delivered them out of Egypt. The Egyptians gave them silver and gold as they left- they did not leave as poor slaves, but as rich men and women. In addition, they were all healthy. This translation says there was not one feeble person among them. They were healed when they ate the Passover meal. They did not stumble or falter as they went through the Red Sea because they were all in excellent health. Some other versions of the Bibles express it like this:

He led Israel out, their arms filled with loot, and not one among his tribes even stumbled. Psalm 105:37 (The Messge, MSG)

The Israelites were wealthy people when they left Egypt. Some Bible teachers say that the wealth they collected when they left was God’s way of getting them their back wages from their 430 years of slavery. I tend to agree with that. God is just and He keeps immaculate records. Consider the amount of wealth they took with them- enough to build the tabernacle and furnish it with items of gold, silver, and fine fabrics. They did not just get a few trinkets from the Egyptians; they plundered them and took with them the wealth of the whole nation. And Egypt has never risen again to that level of financial power.

All of the Israelistes left without illness, disease or injury of any kind. In order to carry their belongings and the wealth they collected, as well as herd their livestock, they had to be in good physical condition. Scholars do not all agree on the exact location where the Israelites crossed the Red Sea, but the distance of the possible crossing sites ranges from approximately 5 miles to 20 miles. And this is just the distance they traveled to get through the water, not the total distance they traveled after they left Egypt, which was even more. Anyone who was sick, weak, or in any way infirmed would not have made it. After a lifetime of back-breaking slavery, they left totally healed.

We are experiencing our own Exodus right now. God plans for each of us to be wealthy and healthy now. As we are released from the bondage we have endured all our lives (and didnt even know it), we are leaving “Egypt” with the wealth of the sinner in our possession and the strength of God in our bodies. As the world experiences the judgment that is coming to the wicked, we will be in our houses, experiencing the healing power of God and the safety of His care. And then, we will walk out of the chains that have held us back and we will be the wealthiest and healthiest we have eve been.

God is no respector of persons. If He did it for the Israelites, He will do it for you and me. Believe this and start confessing and decreeing it now, and as these events play out, you will see the promise of wealth and health come to pass in your life.
