Eyes of Faith
Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. Proverbs 3:5 (Amplified Bible Classic edition, AMPC)
Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses]. Hebrews 11:1 (Amplified Bible Classic Edition, AMPC)
When I look at these two verses, I take this meaning from them: Do not rely on what you see, hear or feel. Instead, have faith in God, who works in the unseen realm to bring things to pass in the physical realm.
Today you may be looking around you and you may be thinking that everything is getting darker and darker. Evil may appear to be winning and wicked men and women apprear to have as much power and influence as ever. But, the eyes of faith see differently.
Walking by faith means that we do not take everything at face value. Things are not as they appear. There are events and activities taking place behind the scenes that we do not see. Just because we don’t see something does not mean it isn’t happening. This is where the Word of God makes a big difference in your viewpoint. Faith comes by hearing the Word. When we are in the Word, our faith is strong, and we are not phased by what things look like.
My brothers and sisters, listen to your spirit. It will tell you that things are changing. It will tell you not to lose hope. It will tell you to stay in faith. It will tell you that God is faithful and God is all-powerful. It will tell you that we, the children of God, always win because He always wins. Tune into the Spirit of God instead of the news media. Listen to the report of the Lord instead of the report of the false prophets of the political realm. Check out the prophets that the Lord has raised up in this hour. hey are speaking truth- and they are concistent and their words are in agreement. This nightmare is about over- and what is coming is the best era the world has ever seen. We have been chosen to live in what may be the most exciting time in human history.
Turn off the TV, social media, and the radio. Get in the Word of God. Listen to true prophetic voices like Hank Kunneman, Robin D. Bullock, Julie Green, Amanda Grace, Kent Christmas, and Timothy Dixon, to name a few. God is speaking- and what He is saying is undeniable. He’s telling us to hold on to Him and His Word, because no matter what we see, victory is ours and victory is here! See through the eyes of faith and your vision will be a perfect 20/20.
