Daily Feeding, Daily Filling- Part 2

Daily Feeding:

But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Matthew 4:4 (KJV)

Daily Filling:

And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Ephesians 5:18 (KJV)

Just as we need to feed on God’s Word daily, we need a daily filling of God’s Spirit. God’s Word and His Spirit work together. The Spirit of God brings the Word of God to our minds. Just as He brought Jesus the Word to the earth and placed the seed in Mary’s womb, we need to conceive the Word in us.

We need a fresh filling of the Holy Spirit daily. Holy Spirit brings God’s presence to us fresh and new everyday. As God gives us a new outpouring of His Spirit each day, we are filled anew with the Holy Spirit. With a fresh outpouring of God’s Spirit comes a new power, a new anointing, and a fresh touch from God. It brings heaven to earth.

As God pours out His Spirit upon us to fill us over and over daily, we will do the works of Jesus and greater works. We will see the Book of Acts continue in the church age. We will even experience greater outpourings, manifestations of God’s glory and power, demonstrations of God’s workings, and operations of God’s gifts. We will see greater signs than they saw in revivals of the past, such as in Topeka Kansas or at Azusa Street. I believe it will all come together for this last outpouring that will usher in the third and final Great Awakening.

We are in that Awakening now. The filling of the Spirit will empower us to reap the harvest right before the rapture of the church. Then we will lay that harvest as an offering at the feet of Jesus. As we feed on the Word and are filled with the Spirit daily, we will fulfill our part in this amazing worldwide revival.
