The Right Perspective
We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak; Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you. For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God. For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. II Corinthians 4:13-18 (KJV)
By the Spirit of faith, we can look at things the way God sees things. God sees the end from the beginning. In other words, God knows how things will be. And, as God raised Jesus from the dead, we can know that God will raise us up above our present circumstances. Death did not defeat or hold Jesus down, and nothing will hold us down as we look at things the right way- from a supernatural perspective, not a natural one. By God’s grace, we can give Him the glory in spite of problems, so we don’t faint, quit, or cave in and give up.
Though our outward man grows older day by day, our inward man- our spirit man- is renewed day by day. We are renewed by God’s Word, Spirit, power, praying in tongues, thanksgiving, praise, and worship, and encounters with God. The things we go through last but but a moment in light of eternity, but it works in us an eternal glory. So, be encouraged that God will reward us for all we go through with a good attitude.
Seeing things through God’s eyes keeps us and helps us keep a right perspective. The things we see are temporal, subject to change. The things that are not seen are eternal. God is eternal. Declare the eternal God over everything in your life and watch the eternal God change your temporal situation. As we speak God’s Word in faith, unctioned by the Holy Spirit, mountains will move and things will change. The eternal will invade the natural, and God’s Kingdom rule will come in power to rule over darkness, sin, devils, and problems.
As we use our authority by speaking God’s Word and using the name of Jesus, things will change, and obstacles will move out of our way. When we stand up, speak up, and grow up, we will go up to new heights and levels in God. We will go from glory to glory, from victory to victory, from faith to faith, walking in the supernatural with God. We change the temporal and enforce the eternal now in life.
