O Lord, do good to those who are good, whose hearts are in tune with you. Psalm 125:4 (New Living Translation, NLT)

This is a prayer that the Lord will do good to those who keep their hearts in tune with God. It speaks of having a right relationship with the Lord. It is a relationship in which you are in tune with His heart, Word, voice, and Spirit.

Just as you tune an instrument to get the best sound, so we tune our hearts with Jesus to be and do good. As we stay tuned to the Lord, we won’t miss what He’s saying or doing. Our lives will flow in the rhythms and melodies of heaven, where our lives are one song that glorifies God

As we pray, study, and worship, this helps us to keep our hearts in tune to the Lord. When our hearts are in tune, we know Him, love Him, and obey Him. When our hearts are in tune, our lives are a beautiful song that draws others to the Lord.

Hear me as I pray, O Lord. Be merciful and answer me! My heart has heard you say, “Come and talk with me.” And my heart responds, “Lord, I am coming…. ”Yet I am confident I will see the Lord’s goodness while I am here in the land of the living. Psalm 27:7-8, 13(New Living Translation, NLT)

Surely, the godly will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. We will have an ongoing relationship with the Lord.
