Walking As Winners
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. I Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)
As new creations in Christ, we are to live out of our spirit man by the Holy Spirit, not relying solely on intellect or by how we feel. We can think something incorrect and miss it. We can feel wrong and thus respond wrong. Relying on our spirit is the way to continued success in life. When challenging things happen, live like the new creation that you are- above sin, sickness, satan, sadness, and sorrow.
Go deeper and live by faith in God’s Word. When you do, nothing can rattle you unless you choose to allow it. By this we live in victory, success, joy, and peace.
But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. I John 2:20 (KJV)
We are anointed, we have an anointing, and we know all things that we need to know. Holy Spirit in us gives us anointing, or an unction to function the way Jesus did on the earth- in power and authority. By this we can overcome demons, disease, destruction, and death.
Don’t respond according to what’s happening around you because it is all subject to change. Jesus rebuked a storm. He knew He had authority, and He used it. We are to do the same. We are not subject to the times in which we live, but the times are subject to us. We can change things by using the authority we’ve been given.
Walk in what you know- God’s Word. Walk in Who you know- God. The more we learn God’s Word, the more we can walk in who we are- new creations in Christ; baptized in the Holy Ghost, and anointed to overcome any thing at any time. We are victors, not victims. We are winners, not losers. As we enforce our rights and walk in who we are, what we know, and who we know, nothing can stop us from achieving total victory.
