God Positions Us

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand. Psalm 37:23-24 (KJV)

Many times we don’t understand what God is doing with us or how our lives seem to be turning out. As we see in the verses above, God will manuever us to where He wants us to be in order for us to do and be what God desires. He strategically guides us step by step to put us in a position to be used by Him and blessed by Him to help others.

I know that the jobs, ministries, relationships, experiences, and churches I have been a part of were used by God to prepare me and grow me to be who I am now. Remember, with God, nothing is wasted. As God manuevered and positioned Joseph through various trials, circumstances, and situations, He does the same with us. Sometimes it’s the hard and long way filled with many lessons and experiences to give us wisdom. Regardless of the length of time involved, it is the school of God intended to teach, train, and develop us.

So, don’t depsise where you’re at. It is a training ground. Don’t run from where you are. Allow God to use it to make you better. As God directs your steps, you may make some mistakes, but know that God will take any bad that takes place and work it out for your betterment. God holds you in His hand and watches over you. He is positioning you for good things and good works. So take heart!
