Keep Praising
What do we do when we have waited a long time, maybe years or even decades for something, and we’re still waiting? Maybe you’ve seen no manifestation of what you’ve asked for and you don’t know when you will. What should you do?
He did not weaken in faith when he considered the [utter] impotence of his own body, which was as good as dead because he was about a hundred years old, or [when he considered] the barrenness of Sarah’s [deadened] womb. No unbelief or distrust made him waver (doubtingly question) concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong and was empowered by faith as he gave praise and glory to God, Romans 4:19-20 (Amplified Bible, Classic Edition, AMPC)
Don’t focus on the natural situation. Don’t deny it, but don’t look at the natural- look beyond it and see God. How? By looking at His promises. Abraham did not consider, or dwell on, the natural circumstances, but He kept his focus and attention on what God had promised. He meditated on the promise and it got bigger in him- bigger than the problem. Consider the promise over the problem and give praise and glory to God. This will grow you and make you strong spiritually.
When you praise God, you tap into the person and presence of Almighty God Himself. He becomes your strength to overcome and obtain the promises. Keep praising until you have received the fulfillment of His promises.
