Keep Taking Steps

The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand. Psalm 37:23-24 (NLT)

This tells us that the Lord directs the steps of the godly. When you take steps and the path leads you to a place that doesn’t make sense, you have to trust God and wait for His timing. God doesn’t tell us everything or show us the whole picture. We get just one piece of the puzzle at a time.

When you take a step of faith and you think you made a mistake, remember that God will work it out for your good. Even when storms come to hinder you or get you off track, He will get you safely to the other side. Even when we stumble or make errors, God will take what seems like missteps and turn them into stepping stones to take you higher and farther in Him. Even when we stumble, we can still move forward, knowing that God is somehow leading us.

Do what God shows you to do and let Him work out the details. God will put the pieces together and you will eventually see what He was doing all along. God is taking you where He wants you to be. Just keep taking steps.
