There's a Reason for Your Season
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1 (KJV)
Our lives are lived out in seasons. Everything we go through is a season. We can shorten or lengthen it based on how we go through it. Do we have a good attitude or a bad one? Are we trusting God or are we worried and frustrated?
God has set times and seasons for our lives. One reason is for spiritual growth, uprooting the bad and planting the good in us. God uses seasons to accomplish His plans and purposes for us. For God’s purposes to be fulfilled, we must give it time. Often the longest and most important seasons are those times that God is readying us for something. The bigger the purpose, the more time it will take. It’s similar to building a building. A larger building takes more time because it requires more planning, a deeper foundation, and more time to erect it. So, God is building His character in us, maturing, developing, and growing us to be who He’s called us to be. Jesus took 30 years to prepare. It took time, but it was for the greatest purpose of God- to redeem man back to God.
So, the season you’re in right now- don’t waste it, but embrace it. You’re in this season for a reason and for this particular time. God is using this period to prepare you to do great things for Him. What you do in this season, and the development you undergo at this time will culminate in you fulfilling what God has planned for you all along.
