From Death to Life
But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Romans 8:11 (KJV)
The word quicken means to make alive or give life to. Because the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit, raised the dead body of Jesus, He will do the same for our bodies. If our bodies are sick, weak, or even seems dead, God will give life to them. The proof that He will do this is that He raised Jesus’ dead body to life by the same Holy Spirit that lives in us.
We are Christ’s body on the earth. He’s the Head. What God does for the Head, He does for the whole body because we are one. There’s no impossibility with God because He has all ability, all power, to do the impossible, With God, the impossible becomes possible- it becomes a reality. God raised Christ up from the dead, which seemed an impossibility. Therefore, when we exercise our faith, God will raise up our bodies from sickness, illness, injury, disease or even death- now and when Christ returns.
Jesus’ victory over death is our victory over anything we face in life. His victory is our victory. Christ is our victory.
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. I Corinthians 15:57 (KJV)
And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power. I Corinthians 6:14 (KJV)
If we believe that Jesus was raised from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit, then we also have to believe that the Holy Spirit will also give life to our bodies. The same Bible tells us both of these, so they are both true.
As we walk in Christ, and He walks in us, we walk in victory. Nothing can defeat Christ, so nothing can defeat us. We are in Him and He is in us, guaranteeing our victory. He got us the victory and now we enforce our victory to maintain it- because the devil, the thief, tries to trick us into letting go of it. We know we are victorious over the enemy because Jesus already defeated him. We are in Christ, so that means that we have also defeated the enemy.
Thanks be to God who gives us the victory! The more we thank God, the more victory we will experience in our bodies and lives- where the live-giving Holy Spirit reigns supreme.

I encourage you to take the first verse I mentioned, Romans 8:11, and make it a confession that you speak regularly. It can be applied to your physical health and healing, or to any part of your life that needs the life-giving touch of the Holy Spirit. Just change the word you to me and the word your to my.
