No Plan B

When people make plans , they usually come up with a back-up plan, or what we sometimes call “Plan B.” When God made His plans for mankind and this earth, He made no Plan B. Plan A is all He needs. He is all-knowing and all-wise and His original plan needs no back-up. He knew what was coming and He included the remedy for every issue before He implemented His plan.

His plan is intricate, yet simplistic. He saw what every person would do, what choices they would make, and what the results of their actions would be. Knowing everything in advance, He wove into His plan the appropriate response to every decision and action of man- and the devil. He did not take away our free will. Instead, He incorporated it into His plan. He does not manipulate us, but uses our individual choices to bring about His overall plan for humanity and the earth.

From the beginning I revealed the end. From long ago I told you things that had not yet happened, saying, “My plan will stand, and I’ll do everything I intended to do.” Isaiah 46:10 (Names of God Bible, NOG)

He saw our actions and reactions in advance and He used His words to address them. His Word comes to pass because His Word is truth and cannot help but come to pass. His Word has creative power, so when He opens His mouth and declares a thing, it comes to pass- every time. He knew what to decree because He knew the future from the very beginning. That is why He incorporated the crucifixion of Jesus before He ever created mankind. He saw the rebellion of man well in advance and included the remedy for sin in His plan. It is up to each of us if we will receive that remedy.

All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s book of life, the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world. Revelation 13:8 (New International Version, NIV) emphasis mine

The all-wise, all-knowing God is infallible and perfect. There is no Plan B because Plan A is all He needs.
