The Lord Is Good

Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy, Psalm 107:1-2 NKJV)

As we get a revelation that God is good, we understand that He is love, and His love endures forever. God is good and does us good. We can experience God’s unending love and absolute goodness.

As we see God’s redemption in our lives, we are redeemed and we must tell that He has redeemed us. He’s delivered us from the enemy and we must tell of His goodness and kindness in freeing us. We say it because it is so. The enemy has lost and we have won. We declare it and shout it from the housetops to broadcast the goodness of God to the world.

He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions. Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men! Psalm 107: 20-21 (NKJV)

God is so good that He sent His Word, His Son, Jesus, and healed us. We’ve been healed physically, mentally, and emotionally from all we’ve been through. He delivered us and brought us out of bondage into God’s glorious liberty. Truly, these are reasons to give thanks to our good and loving God. Because God is love and His love goes on forever, God will always be good and do us good. The goodness of our Lord is limitless.
