We Can't Be Silent

Dietrich Bonhoeffer was one of very few ministers in Germany during World War II who spoke out against the evils of the Third Reich. Because of his stand and his actions to counter the government’s wicked agenda, he was arrested and eventually hanged. However, most other ministers in Germany did not speak against the regime, and some even promoted their lies and evil deeds as being acceptable.
God expects us to call out evil and stand against it. When tyrants rule, the Christian must be the voice crying out against injustice and wickedness. Christianity is the last obstacle to complete and total dictatorship. We must challenge wicked men and women who are working in cooperation with the devil to control people and take away their freedom.
When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn. Proverbs 29:2 (KJV)
God is just and righteous, and we are to stand up for justice and righteousness in all realms of society, including government. We cannot be in fear, but we must trust God to protect us as we speak words of truth against lies and deception.

If we stand idly by as wicked people take over, we are no better than they are, and we will answer for our complacency. We must do what is in our power to come against them at every turn. We can pray and we can get the word out to everyone we know. We can share the truth online and in-person. We can get involved in government, politics, and media. We can take part in rallies and peaceful demonstrations.
And if you are a pastor or other minister that has a platform to influence people, you are expected by God to use that platform to promote good and to defeat evil. If you do not address the evils going on around you and allow your sheep to be led astray into believing that right is wrong and wrong is right, their blood is on your hands. For example, failing to address the sin of abortion is the same as endorsing it. And if you are a minister who does not see it as sin, you are in danger of hell fire yourself. Other evils must also be addressed, such as human trafficking, the stripping of parental rights, and much more. You are to lead the charge against wickedness and immorality. Stand for truth. Stand for right. Stand for God, and stand against the evil agenda trying to reign. Quit cowering and bending to the demon-possessed people trying to take over everything and everyone. You must be God’s mouthpiece!

God has something for each of us to do in this hour. We can’t be silent. We must speak for righteousness, truth, and justice, and we must stand on the Lord’s side.
