The Dream-Seed
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. I Peter 1:23 (KJV)
Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. Proverbs 29:18 (KJV)
The closer we get to God, the more we become intimate with Him. And in that intimacy, we become “pregnant” by the seed of God, or the Word of God. As we get close to God, He places His Word in our hearts. He plants within us seeds of vision, of destiny, of greatness. A dream is placed in our hearts, but in seed form. As we nurture that dream-seed by the Word, prayer, and watching over it to keep it alive, we will see it grow, mature, and produce abundant fruit (John 15:1-7).
And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. Genesis 3:15 (KJV)
And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered. And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. Revelation 12:1-4 (KJV)
As we see from these verses, from the first and the last books of the Bible, that the fight is always about the seed. For us, the fight is for the seed of our vision. Our vision, given to us prophetically from God, is a weapon in God’s hands to defeat the enemy. Therefore, the devil will try to abort the dream-seed. But, God is our help, and we must fight the fight of faith to keep it alive. A vision is a sure word, and we use it to fight until it comes to pass.
Fight the good fight of faith. I Timothy 6:12 (KJV)
If we keep fighting the good fight of faith, we win. Fight until what is in your heart is manifested. If the enemy sends a thought that says your dream-seed will not come to pass, do what Jesus did in Matthew 4- contend for it by speaking the Word of God. Use the Word like a sword and cut the enemy up with it, sending him on his way. The vision is worth the fight. Fight on until the dream-seed God planted in you comes to life.
For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself, Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee. And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise. Hebrews 6:13-15 (KJV)
Use the Word to press on through any fight until God brings the vision to pass. Patiently endure until the dream-seed becomes a reality in your life.
