From Mind to Mouth to Manifestation
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Joshua 1:8 (KJV)
For this verse to work, we must get God’s Word to learn, know, and do it. What we put in us comes out of us. When the Word is not in our eyes, ears, and mouths, it will depart from us. However, when we keep the Word going into our eyes, ears, and heart, it will come out of our mouths. Our wisdom and success are found in God’s Word. As we speak and do what it says, we will make our way prosperous and have good success.
First of all, we must meditate on the Word, thinking upon it and rolling it over in our minds, day and night. Meditation also speaks of using our imagination. Meditation creates images or pictures inside us. Whatever we see ourselves doing in our mind’s eye, we will bring it out of us into our physical lives. Read and think on God’s Word until you are so full of the Word that it almost automatically comes out of your mouth.
As we observe God’s Word and speak it out of our mouths, it gives us power to be doers of the Word and not hearers only. As we think, speak, and act on God’s Word, we release God’s ability in our lives, causing us to be prosperous and successful in every area of life. Therefore, what we put in us, we speak out, and it manifests in our lives. So, when we meditate on and speak God’s Word, the promises of God’s Word will become a reality for us.
It’s like getting the harvest from the seeds you plant. God’s Word is a seed and the seed has the power within itself to produce. We reap what we sow. We sow the Word by meditating on it and speaking it. It releases God’s wisdom and works in us, through us, and for us to bring about the manifestation of God’s Word. It goes from mind to mouth to the manifestation of all of God’s promises.
Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) Hebrews 10:23 (KJV)
