Unlimited Resources
And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. Genesis 17:1 (KJV) emphasis mine
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Ephesians 3:20 (KJV)
God is an unlimited God. His name, El Shaddai, often translated Almighty God, means the All-Sufficient God, the God who is more than enough. Whatever the need, God has more than enough to meet it with plenty left over. God has resources in Heaven and Earth, because He made it all. And God knows how to get it to you.
God’s power, wisdom, and blessings are all unlimited. He has more than enough to meet any need. The Lord’s riches are vast and never-ending because God Himself is the never-ending Source of it all.
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 (KJV)
Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. Malachi 3:10 (KJV)
God has riches in the glory. As we tithe and give, we make a deposit. As we are obedient to God, by faith we make withdrawals. God pays an amazing interest rate on what we deposit with Him, giving us more and more. God opens the windows of Heaven to pour out such a blessing that we simply don’t have enough room to receive it.- like the flood waters of Noah (Genesis 7:11). This speaks of a flood of blessing. God blesses us so much that we don’t have sufficient room for it, giving us a life of abundance and overflow. Our cup runs over, and we have more than we need.
I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. John 10:10 (KJV)
God is not a poverty-stricken God. He is a God of abundance. Just look at the people God created. He gives to every one of them rain and sunshine- God is good to all (Matthew 5:45, Psalm 145:9). He never runs out because he is the God who is more than enough.
As we tithe and give, believe, worship, and pray in tongues, we tap into the unlimited resources of God. We release the flood waters of blessing. The Holy Spirit causes blessing and unlimited resources to flow our way and flood our lives. We overflow with all of the good things of God. God made Heaven, and blesses all who live there. Jesus said in Matthew 6:10, “Kingdom come, will be done (literal Greek interpretation) on earth as it is in heaven.” God wants Earth to look like and be like Heaven. As we agree with God, we can see this now.
God is all we need. God has all we need. As we tap into God, we tap into unlimited resources.
