Turning Failure Into Success
We’ve all failed one another. We have failed others and others have failed us. However, I Corinthians 13:8 says that love never fails.
Charity never faileth. I Corinthians 13:8 (KJV)
I John 4:8 tells us that God is love. So, by combining our understanding of those verses, we see that God (Who is love) never has and never will fail us. God’s love will never fail, disappoint us, or let us down. God cannot fail us- period.
When someone “faileth” us or we “faileth” them, take that faileth and, by love, turn it into faith. According to Galatians 5:6, faith works by love. Therefore, using faith, we can take failure and turn it into success. Faith in God and His love will cause us to triumph (II Corinthians 2:14).
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. I John 5:4 (KJV)
Don’t settle for failure. Use your faith and put it in God, Who never fails. When you’re let down, put faith in God and His love, and He will lift you up. When we know and believe the love God has for us, we will dwell in Him, safe, secure, and sure. Faith in God turns failure into victory, success, and fruitfulness.
Whatever has failed us in the past has no place in our present or future. One failure, or even several, does not make us failures. This is especially true because God is in us, is with us, and is working for us. God turns failures into victories, trials into triumphs, and tragedies into trophies. Failure is never permanent because God, Who is eternal, guarantees our success.
