The God Advantage
But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive. Genesis 50:20 (KJV)
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 (KJV)
God, who is all and knows all, does all things good. He sees all, hears all, is all-knowing, all-powerful, and ever-present. This same God is on our side, which gives us what I call the God advantage. As believers in Jesus Christ, we have the God advantage, so that come what may, God makes us victorious in every way.
According to dictionary.com, advantage means any state, circumstance, opportunity, or means specially favorable to success, interest, or any desired end. No matter what we face, we have the advantage, because we have God and God’s got us. With God, we have the means favorable to success. When sickness attacks, we have the advantage that God is our Healer. When lack attacks, we have the advantage of God being our Provider. He gives us an advantage over anything or anyone who would mistreat us or come against us. God will make it right.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Psalm 23:5 (KJV)
God loves to help us openly for all to see. Even our enemies must see that God provides for us. When we are attacked by the enemy, we have the God advantage; God will fight for us. As our Father, God takes care of His children! When man overlooks us, God sees us, and by His favor, He promotes us and blesses us.
As we live for God and stand upon His Word, we can pray in tongues and receive supernatural knowledge; knowledge that we didn’t gain by schooling or experience, God will give us supernatural wisdom and knowledge that promotes us and gives us the advantage.
We are never at a disadvantage if God is on our side. We are the head, and not the tail. We are above only and not beneath. We are blessed and redeemed. We have God and His promises, the name of Jesus, the blood of Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. No matter what bad thing comes our way, God is our advantage and He makes it to work out for our good. We can’t lose because the God advantage always makes us the winners.
Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place. II Corinthians 2:14 (KJV)
