God Is Pure Love
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. I John 4:8 (KJV)
For our God is a consuming fire. Hebrews 12:29 (KJV)
Or do you suppose that the Scripture is speaking to no purpose that says, The Spirit Whom He has caused to dwell in us yearns over us and He yearns for the Spirit [to be welcome] with a jealous love? Janes 4:5 (Amplified Bible Classic Edition, AMPC)
God is love, and His love is pure and holy with no contamination in Him. God loves us from a pure heart. God is a spirit, and there is no sin or flesh in Him to contaminate Him. He is separated from sin; He is holy. He is holy love and He has holy love for us. His love separates us from sin, hurt, and wrong that’s been done to us. People may love us for a time, then their love may fade or turn to hate. God, Who is pure love, has no hatred or darkness or any such thing in Him to contaminate His love. Therefore, when God loves us, it is pure love, free from impurities.
God’s love is holy, separate from that which would ruin, destroy, or make His love unclean. Pure Spirit love flows from God to us. he loves us with His whole heart. His heart is pure, with no ulterior motives. He wants to give, care, and share His heart with us. We need have no fear that He won’t love us. God loves us forever because His love is pure, and it is eternal like He is. Nothing can separate us from God’s love. However, when we receive His love, God’s love will separate us from sin and anything that makes us feel unloved.
God is a consuming fire. His love burns with a holy, jealous, passionate love for us. Love needs an object upon which to shower its love. What satisfies God’s deep love is the ability to give His love to us. He will do anything to win us- even die for us. God gave His all so He could have all of us. We cannot run or hide from His love. He will pursue us with an everlasting love until the very end.
God’s love will burn up anything that may try to take us from Him. God’s fiery love burns with passion to love us, help us, heal us, to hold and to have us. His love draws us and calls to us. It fights for us. God’s love pursues us until we are captured by His love. When we surrender to the God Who is Love, we surrender to the God of Love. When we receive God, Who is Love, we are loved all the days of our lives.
His love makes us whole, and it gives us worth, value, and identity. It gives us our place in God and in life. We have the love of God our whole life long and then forever throughout eternity. It is infinite and unending. God who is Everlasting Love, loves us with an everlasting love.
