You'll See Things Turn Around
The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing. I will gather them that are sorrowful for the solemn assembly, who are of thee, to whom the reproach of it was a burden. Behold, at that time I will undo all that afflict thee: and I will save her that halteth, and gather her that was driven out; and I will get them praise and fame in every land where they have been put to shame. At that time will I bring you again, even in the time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, saith the Lord. Zephaniah 3:17-20 (KJV)
These verses say the Lord our God is in our midst, meaning He is with us and gets right in the midst of what is going on. Whatever trouble we may be facing, we aren’t facing it alone. He will save us. He rejoices over us with joy. He rests in His love and quiets us. He dances and sings over us.
He will gather those who sorrow and are burdened down. Note He uses the phrase, at that time. God has a time to move and work and restore. He will make us a name and a praise among the people. When? When He turns back our captivity before our very eyes. God validates and vindicates His people in public- in front of those who sought to harm us.
God will undo, outdo, and overdo all the enemy has done to us, making it even better than if it never happened. God says we are going to see Him work in our lives. He tells us this before it happens so when it happens, He will get the glory.
For sorrow, God will give us a song of praise to sing. That which God sings to us and over us, we can sing out to activate our freedom, victory, and restoration. For hurt, He gives us healing. For pain, God gives us wholeness. For every loss, He’ll give us double for our trouble. For the curse, He gives us blessings. For death, He gives life. For sorrow, He gives us joy and songs to sing. For our messes, God gives us miracles.
In all losses and what appear to be setbacks, God will make the devil wish he’d never messed with us. God turns what was bad into good. All injustice is overturned. He turns it all around.
God sings over us joyful songs; the song of the Lord, even prophetic songs and spiritual songs referred to in Scripture. In His singing and rejoicing over us, He releases restoration. All that was lost, stolen, or withheld from us is given to us. Payday is here.
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6 (KJV)
As we seek God, He rewards us.. And we will see with our very eyes when God turns our captivity around!
