Scripture Separates Truth From Lies
The devil likes to deceive us and tries to portray himself as an angel of light. He is a liar and the father of lies. How do we separate truth from lies? The Scriptures will always help us to do this. Here are some Scriptures that show us the difference between a good God and an evil devil.
God is light (I John 1:5) and satan is darkness (Luke 22:53).
Jesus blesses (Galatians 3:13) and satan curses (Genesis 3).
Jesus gives abundantly (John 10:10) and satan steals (John 10:10).
Jesus heals (Acts 10:38) and satan makes sick (Acts 10:38).
Jesus brings life (John 10:10) and satan kills (John 10:10).
Jesus is good (III John 1:11) and satan is evil (III John 1:11).
Every good thing comes from God (James 1;17) and every evil thing comes from satan (John 10:10).
Jesus is the truth (John 14:6) and satan is the liar (John 8:44).
Jesus gives eternal life (Luke 6:9) and satan brings eternal death (Luke 6:9)
God helps (Psalm 46:1, Psalm 122) and satan hurts (Matthew 17:14-18, Mark 5:1-20)
The decision is yours as to whom you will choose to serve and who you will blame when bad things happen. God is a good God, and the devil is bad. It doesn’t get much plainer than that.
I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: Deuteronomy 30:19 (KJV)
