While We Were Sleeping

So the captain came and said to him, What do you mean, you sleeper? Arise, call upon your God! Perhaps your God will give a thought to us so that we shall not perish. Jonah 1:6 (Amplified Bible Classic Edition, AMPC)

This was spoken to Jonah, who while running from God had found himself in the midst of a terrible storm at sea. He was sleeping and the captain wanted him to wake up. Today, many people are asleep, but it is a different kind of slumber.

For a long time, most of the church has been asleep to what has been going on. There were some who tried to sound an alarm, but most of us wrote them off as conspiracy theorists or crackpots. We have been so focused on staying within the safety of the walls of the church and waiting until the Lord takes us home that we have let the enemy take over the earth. While we were sleeping, the enemy took over all aspects of society: government, economy, education, the arts, media, the family, and even religion.

But while he was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed also darnel (weeds resembling wheat) among the wheat, and went on his way. Matthew 13:25 (Amplified Bible Classic Edition, AMPC)

Yes, this verse applies to false believers being sown among the sheep, but it can be applied in a broader sense as well. While we slept, satan sowed his followers in places throughout all sectors of society. For decades, they used their places of influence and power to take us all ever closer to a one world government and towards a complete loss of freedom. They allowed us to think that those in leadership positions were good people who wanted to help us, but regardless of political party, each person selected for office was a part of their plan for world domination (with a couple obvious exceptions).

If this sounds like the plot from a movie and that it is too far-fetched to be real, then you need to wake up and look around. They have been lying to us through the media, our educational system, and even through some of our pulpits to keep us subdued and asleep so they could carry out their wicked plans right in front of our faces.

The destruction that is happening around us is not random and is not the result of a leader who doesn’t know what he is doing. No, this is a premeditated, calculated plan to destroy this country and therefore allow them to take over. Why do you think the morality of this country has been under attack for decades? When morailty breaks down, societal structure breaks down and it is easier to take control. Why do you think our government has poured billions and billions of dollars to other nations as economic relief? That money then miraculously makes its way back into the pockets of the elite. Why do you think gender is under attack? A person who changes gender is rendered impotent, and thus it helps their depopulation agenda. Plus, it sows more chaos and confusion. Why do think our borders are wide open? Most of those who are crossing are not refugees looking to escape horrible conditions. Most are men of fighting age- men who can set up cells in this country to carry out attacks. And what do you think it is when multiple trains derail, trucks overturn, and other mishaps involving hazardous chemical occur? They are coordinated attacks. Why were we deceived about a sickness so that millions would rush to take an experimental and, as we are now seeing, deadly, vaccine? Why are perfectly healthy people just dropping dead all over the place? It is part of the enemy’s plan to steal, kill, and destroy.

Wake up oh sleeper- we are actually at war. And I am not talking about the one in Ukraine. Yes, that is a war that our “administration” is in, but the one I am speaking of is more devious. We have been in a war for decades, likely centuries, and we didn’t know it. We have become enslaved to big government and to the world elite. They did it gradually and cunningly so we didn’t realize it. Bit by bit, more and more they took away our liberty and added more taxation to put us deeper in bondage. And they took us off the gold standard so they could manipulate our money and create inflation. And once they got closer to the realization of their plan, they got bolder and more open about it. Now they don’t care to hide it. And underneath everything, it boils down to a war between good and evil, between God and satan.

The good news is that God is going to bring a remarkable great awakening out of this. He is going to fill the earth with His glory. It will be marvelous, but it requires that we all wake up to what is going on. It also requires that we commit to never being lazy and lethargic about our world again. We must be involved. We cannot rely on others to take care of our interests. And we cannot rely on others to take authority over the demonic plots and schemes of the enemy. Jesus gave us His authority and we need to speak out and decree the fall of this wicked, worldwide, globalist conspiracy. Our words carry power, so let’s use them to remove the wicked from power and place godly people into leadership- in all areas of society.

While we were sleeping great evil took over, but as we awaken, stand up against evil, and speak forth God’s will in the earth, we will see the hand of God move in mighty ways. As it says in Jonah: “What do you mean, you sleeper? Arise, call upon your God!”
