Having a Good Outlook- Part 1
Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength. Nehemiah 8:10 (KJV) emphasis mine
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. I Corinthians 15:57 (KJV)
And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it. Numbers 13:30 (KJV)
Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place. II Corinthians 2:14 (KJV)
God wants us to be happy with who we are and where we are. He wants us to accept who He’s made us to be and the life He has for us. That does not mean that we don’t improve ourselves or continue to make our lives better.
We can have a good outlook on life because God is greater than anyone or anything we face. Do we see victory or defeat? Are we positive or negative? Do we believe that God is good, and He will be only good to us, or do we doubt?
Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice. Philippians 4:4 (KJV)
As we believe God and His Word, staying thankful with a positive confession, we can remain positive no matter what happens. When we keep our thoughts and words on God, speaking good not bad no matter how it looks, God can work in our lives to show us that every day is a good day- even a God day.
The way we approach life when things are bad is to keep a good attitude. We’ll feel better as a result. A good attitude in God will give you a good outlook- and a more enjoyable life.
